Data collection has wrapped up for the trial post enumeration survey following the trial census in the Fanteakwa South District. The data collection period spanned three weeks from 24th February to 16th March following a 10-day training for Enumerators and Supervisors.
One of the innovations of the 2021 PHC is conduct of trial post enumeration surveys (PES) to test the strategies and enumeration procedures to be used in the main PES.
The conduct of the trial PES is in line with the United Nations’ Principles and Recommendations, which guides the implementation of Population and Housing Censuses worldwide.
